Washington, DC —  The Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue and Thorsec Global, an India-based strategic security and advisory firm, announced today a partnership to broaden access to the Krach Institute’s Tech Diplomacy Academy training for policymakers and industry professionals across India and South Asia. 

Through the partnership, Thorsec Global's network will gain access to the Krach Institute's Tech Diplomacy Academy, the world’s first online education platform dedicated to preparing leaders across government, industry, and civil society to understand how critical and emerging technologies shape national power, economic competitiveness, and freedom. The courses cover key areas such as artificial intelligence, 5G, cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing, and digital infrastructure.

The partnership will also create new opportunities for policymakers, industry professionals, and academics to exchange ideas and strengthen international cooperation on the emerging and critical technologies shaping the future.

The partnership connects Thorsec Global to the Krach Institute’s Global Trusted Tech Network, facilitating participation in U.S. and allied policy discussions, workshops, and roundtables. This rapidly expanding network fosters collaboration with like-minded countries, companies, and organizations to promote trusted technology and counter authoritarian models.

This builds on Purdue's 125-year relationship with India, which today includes more than 3,000 Indian students on campus, the Purdue-India Center for Education and Engagement, and the U.S.-India Center of Excellence in Semiconductors with IIT Hyderabad. This partnership with Thorsec Global extends that legacy into tech diplomacy and trusted technology.

The Tech Diplomacy Academy is already being used by leading organizations and institutions, including NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA), the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Department of Commerce, as well as like-minded international partners seeking to strengthen understanding of emerging technologies and their implications for diplomacy, economic security, and national security.
